Kris has always loved this room...maybe it's the colors, maybe its the texture. Whatever the reason it's the inspiration for her new living room if she could start from scratch.
I'd start with the perfectly bound seagrass rug.
Next would come the basic, timeless slip covered couch(es).....
an interesting coffee table...
a couple of these stools or an ottoman for extra seating...
and some conversational, unexpected light fixtures (bye- bye boring chandeliers)
Finish off with the "funnest" part of all..accessories!
Bottom line- she thinks if you stick to basics you always have the perfect backdrop for any new accessories, finds, trends etc...BELIEVE ME, she is always on the hunt;)

ok.... love love love everything. But i think the light fixture would be a really harsh light dont you??? Where do you think the best seisel (sp) rugs can be found??
