Etsy Jackpot: Print Your Party

My husband's cousin is getting married in November and in the process of helping with her bridal shower I found Print Your Party ! This darling etsy shop and blog where they design customizable printables.
You pick the pattern, customize the colors and text and they send you the PDF to print at home on your own paper or labels!
I chose water bottle labels from the collection below because they match the invitations perfectly...
How cute are the "i do." sparklers?
The invitations are going in the mail and the water bottles will be such a personal touch...pictures to follow.
If I can do it, you can do it!
Put the cutest party ever in your back pocket...

Bookshelf Spruce Up

An ordinary bookshelf can become extraordinary with a little love...
with wallpaper
or with paint...
or even fabric...
So once again bored and melting, I got crafty...
I have some black bookcases on either side of my TV
and anything I put in there just gets sucked into the black background,
so prompted by my friend Amy (who tried it first)
I covered some cardboard with burlap fabric from Hobby Lobby
and stapled it on (no time for glue) and....
The color makes the objects stand out rather than fade away
and the texture is subtle, but I like it...

Bed End

Always a good detail in a bedroom is something interesting at the end of the bed.
Some inspirational options area:
a  bench...
ottomans...
stools or cubes...
a chaise or settee...
chairs or seating area (for those of you with megaspace)...
and if you want to go a little more out of the box,
try a desk, or how about this cute cot...
here is Mac who loves to be at the end of Kris's bed...

A New Favorite Shape: Quatrefoil

We are really liking this shape...it's called a quatrefoil (fancy, right?) which means "four leaves"... we think it has a modern feel but still has the softness of the curved lines and can translate to many design styles...
this Suzanne Kasler chair is an instant classic,
and I am going to get these pillows from
and I was at HomeGoods last week stumbled across this duvet that made it's way in my cart...
for $39.99 I am holding on to this for a fall bedding swap out...
put some quatrefoil inspiration in your back pocket...
