A 2013 FAVE...

Happy New Year!
One of our favorite DIY of 2013 was done by Cassie at Hi Sugarplum!  She used some darling wrapping paper from Homegoods (have you seen all of the cute wrapping paper that's been there the last few months?)  Check out her tutorial HERE on how she did it...It's the perfect amount of pattern.

Another Detail...

Another go-to detail that we can't forget is the ribbon or fabric wine glass detail.  The trick here is to avoid going all over-the-top crafty... (i.e. no paint pens!) Easy ties- not bows- look the best! strips of fabric are our favorites...

Peel and stick Panelling

A super cool new product is peel and stick wood panelling.  It was even featured in House Beautiful as one of the cool new products for 2014.  Stikwood is the name of the company and it's ingenious! Just "plan, peel and stick"--that's their motto.  Go to the website HERE for more info.

Button, Button...

Here's a cute little way to quickly dress up a plain package.  Just tie it off with a button.  Bags of misc. buttons are cheap, too!
