So What Wednesday

So, my college son asks me if he can take his dirty laundry to the cleaners for "fluff and fold"  because he hasn't had "time to do it."
"Sure" I say feeling bad for him because I know he has been busy with school, training, etc.

So What if the bill was $70.50 !!!!

Holy  #$%@*!

This is how it came back...I'm sure it will remain in these bags and be removed only on a need-to-wear basis.

or be a permanent bed for Dave...

I think I found a new business venture...College kids' laundry.

What are you saying "so what" to this week?

Thinking my son has too many clothes...a reminder for me to put in my back pocket.

Faux Wood Tile: Yay or Nay?

I've been throwing around the idea of re-doing our Master bathroom for a while now.  ( Note:  "I've" not "we've.")   Im wondering about wood tile floors.  Jen and I have been seeing these porcelain and ceramic tiles everywhere.   In fact, she just sent me a photo of the wood tile flooring in her Starbucks.
It comes just like this:
It comes in many colors

Here's a little inspiration...

Love the herringbone...

Michelle of 4 Men 1 Lady used it in her new dressing room/bathroom.  i think i would use a darker grout (just as she suggested ) but I like the warmth of it.

It seems that almost all of the reviews i've read are positive-durable, lifelike, easy to install, affordable, etc.

Have you seen it? What do you think?

Homegoods Find

I just happened to stop by Homegoods this weekend...you know, just to check it out.  Lo and behold, there sat this lonely iron/rope mirror.  It was calling my name, and only 59.99.  Now, I need this mirror like a hole in the head, but i had to bring it home.  I've always loved the look, so I thought I'd give it a test drive.  Problem is that it is sooo heavy that I need a partner-in-crime to help me hold it up in all of it's possible new homes.  Tip: avoiding asking Big Bad Husbands to help with that part...they can become easily irritated...

Here's the $700 mirror from Restoration Hardware...
