The Jury's Still Out

Hey it's Kris. So the jury's still out on the zig zag rug. I've walked by it about 76 times, stood back and looked at it through squinted eyes (I'm not sure why I do that or how it helps...maybe it's like when you turn down the music in the car when you're looking for an address.) But I do think It adds a little "something" to the room... 

As for the family:

Kevin (16): "It's obnoxious" 

Jack (14): "It's itchy"

   Caroline (12): "Ooooh mom, it's so cool."

(Gotta love a budding designer.)

      Husband: Pretended not to notice, but I think he likes it...

It's Been Shipped...Chevron Love

Kris's zig zag rug from West Elm has finally been shipped! After being back-ordered again and again- which usually isn't our "gig" cuz we like instant gratification... She's been waiting for months and it's now on it's way! It is an update for what she calls her "haggered" family room. Might be too much for rest of her family but she can't wait. She hopes it turns out like the vision in her head. The inspiration rooms abound...
